Both free and paid accounts count. The app records one last-seen time for the signed-in account when internet is available. That is enough to calculate Today, Active, and Inactive—nothing else is needed.

Is Salinity a fit for your boat?
The signed preview is Android-only. Engine health needs a compatible NMEA 2000-to-WiFi gateway. Conditions, logs, charts, and phone-based safety tools can still work without that gateway.
Salinity Chart is focused on the Florida Keys and remains in field validation. A free version with simpler everyday tools is planned; exact free and paid packaging is still being finalized.
